Ruma Wha

Whaea Rovena

Kia ora e te whānau! Nau mai haere mai ki ō mātou karaehe reorua. Welcome to our bilingual classroom. We are the lively wee bunch of 13 tamariki in Rūma Whā – he iti, engari he taonga (small, yet precious)! We are a Year 1-3 class and our teacher is Whaea Rovena. In Rūma Whā we show respect for ourselves, each other, and the environment. We are critical thinkers, good communicators, and active participators who show resilience. We give everything a go and always like to do our best. We love to kōrero and have fun while we learn. We meet briefly each morning with our tuakana in the senior reorua class for karakia, waitata, and daily notices. We are learning new reo Māori every day and aim to use more as the year goes on. Feel free to pop in if you have any pātai (questions), or would like to kōrero (talk) with Whaea Rovena.  Ngā mihi, Rūma whā
