After 2 relaxing weeks of holidays we have returned to school ready for the summer. The whole school has been attending swimming lessons.
Our Extravaganza was performed on Wednesday 30th, and Thursday 31st August. We are really proud of the amazing performances that showcased the many arts, from backdrops, props, costumes, singing, dance, and of course acting, that our school has been focusing on this term.
On 25 July we had the official opening of our beautiful new Admin, library and gym block.
During the July holiday break our Office area was demolished.
Winter Sport has started, with our Trekkers taking part in Hockey, netball, basketball, football and rugby.
Our Hikers had a great day exploring the Christchurch Botanic Gardens on Wednesday 17th May. They had a scavenger hunt looking for different Autumn leaves, acorns and chestnuts. They also made leaf boats and floated them in the Archery Lawn pond.
On Thursday 30th March we had our Duathlon. It was a great day with all our students participating with bikes, scooters or just running the whole way.
Monday 12th March was our turn for the travelling Duffy Theatre. We watched a great performance, showing us ways to be more aware of our environment and things we can do to help with global warming.
On Friday 10th March our Trekkers enjoyed a day at Spenser Park, fossicking at the beach for shells etc, searching for wildlife on the Brooklands Lagoon and playing at the playground.
On Wednesday 223rd February our Hikers had a great day in town at the Margaret Mahy playground and Lego-land.
Great to see everyone back for 2017.
We started the day with a powhiri to welcome our new staff, Miss Joyce and Miss Clifford, and our new families.
Everyone had a great day, meeting their new classmates and playing in our swimming pool.
